Flying High!

What a treat...some friends came to visit this past weekend and Saturday evening was one of those magical times when everyones spirit is light and all was right with the world. After a great day and engagement Photo shoot with Erin and Andy us adults took the kids to "Wingdingers Air field" to fly a mini Cessna. Just gotta love that name! We arrived at sunset and it was so beautiful. It was a photographers dream with elegant twilight lighting, interesting and fun subjects and an open lush green field that captivated your senses. It really was a spectacular night I will never forget.

Workshop with Me Ra Koh

Meet Me Ra Koh, a mentor, a friend and fabulous photographer that I was blessed enough to study under. I attended a workshop that Me Ra and her husband Brian had for up and coming photographers. What a blast! These two are amazing and have helped me so much in learning some of the basics and tricks of the trade. Here is some of the work I was able to capture during my time at the workshop. Thanks to Jennifer Fox I even got a picture of myself behind the lens. Thanks Jen and Thank you, thank you, thank you Me Ra and Brian!

Pumpkin Fun Anyone?

I'm not sure if our family will make it to the pumpkin patch this year so I'm sharing some of my favorites from last years adventures. My Cowboy and cowgirl from last year have changed their pairing to separate characters for this years festivities and the only hint I will give is that they both can fly! Even Daddy too!

Bobbing for Apples!

So you don't want to get wet do you? What fun, Makayla was invited to a neighbors birthday party and the highlight was bobbing for apples. Guess which child wanted no part of it? Yes, our princess in a ponytail wanted no part of this messy fun. I think she enjoyed watching but stood arms folded as if thinking that "these kids are crazy, and why aren't they worried about germs?" Turns out she was the smart one.... a few days later a couple of the kids got sick!

Beach Kite Festival

Our family went to the beach and watched kite's flying high, children chasing waves and adults showing their more care free side. It was an awesome day to just ENJOY!
